Where are the restrooms?

Across the hall from the exhibition hall, near registration. Click here for a map of the venue or just ask at the Symposium registration desk.

Where are the Water’s Edge A/B Team Track sessions located?

Simply walk past the elevators, keep going past the restaurant, and turn right. Water’s Edge A&B is the second set of doors on your right. It’s about a 52 second walk from the Symposium registration table. WARNING: Do NOT look at the beach too long or you will get distracted. Trust me on this one. Click here for a map of the venue.

How do I get my CE certificate?

Complete your Symposium Survey provided on Saturday morning & exchange it for your CE certificate at the Symposium registration table. It’s that simple. Oh, and don’t forget to register for the 2021 Symposium while you’re there.

What is there to do nearby?

Right outside the venue is Pier 60, with live entertainment and activities each night at sunset. Just a few blocks south is Surf Style, offering indoor surfing. Just past the roundabout is the Clearwater Aquarium, home to Winter (A Dolphin’s Tale) and Hope, the stars of the aquarium with Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure. The Morean Arts Center, Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, MOSI, and the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Dali are just a few options.

Any recommendations for dinner?

Be sure to make any reservations for AFTER the cash bar Happy Hour which is from 5:15-6:15pm on Friday. The area provides myriad choices from a slice of pizza to freshly caught seafood. Locals recommend some of the following though. Shepard’s isn’t just a good place to eat, there’s live music and festivities every weekend! Head up the beach 150 yards and grab a burger at the Sand Pearl then warm yourself at their evening fire pit or relax in their hammocks. Grab some grub at Frenchy’s just a bit further up and get a free t-shirt for completing their Passport Challenge by ordering a signature drink at each of their four beach locations!
